General Information
General information about studying in Germany can be found on the webpage of the German Academic Exchange Service: www.daad.de.

For further information please look at the websites of the universities (“Auslandsamt”), e.g. which documents you need for your application. You can also download forms for an application on these websites.

On the basis of these documents the university decides, if you can start immediately with your studies or if you need to visit the Studienkolleg before your studies. If this case the university registers you for the German entry exam at the Studienkolleg München.
If you want to study a scientific or technical course of studies and you have to attend the “T-Course” of the Studienkolleg, then you have to pass an additional test in Mathematics.

The beginning of lessons in the new courses varies slightly every year. The summer term normally starts in the 4th. week of February or in the 1st week of March, the winter term normally starts in the 3rd or 4th week of September. The Studienkolleg will inform you about the exact date of the beginning of the lessons, after you have passed the German entry exam.
