There are 4 different focus courses at the Studienkolleg München (G, M, T, W).

The focus courses each take one year (two terms/semesters) and prepare for the following courses of study:

G-Course: Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences and Languages

Applicants with the following choice of studies have to attend the G-Course:

Humanities	Arts	Languages
Social studies, if not assigned for the W-Course	Psychology (M-Course also possible)	Law (W-Course also possible)

M-Course: Medicine and Biology/Chemistry

Applicants with the following choice of studies have to attend the M-Course:

Agronomy	Biochemistry (T-Course also possible)	Bioinformatics (T-Course also possible)
Biology	Chemistry (T-Course also possible)	Nutrition Science
Forestry	Geoecology	Land Use
Medicine	Molecular Biotechnology	Pharmacy
Psychology (G-Course also possible)	Sports	Veterinary Medicine

T-Course: Technical, Mathematical Studies and Studies in Natural Sciences

Applicants with the following choice of studies have to attend the T-Course:
