Important Dates Your application must be submitted to the university you would later like to attend. This must be done at the latest by January 15 for admission in the summer semester or by July 15 for admission to the winter semester. More detailed information about the necessary documentation can be found on the web pages of the universities. You can also download the forms for your application from there.   The university will decide if you are allowed to begin your university studies right away or if you have to attend the Studienkolleg beforehand. If you are referred to the Studienkolleg, an invitation to take an entry exam at the Studienkolleg will be sent to the applicant by the university.
